Conscious Living Series Event: Celebrating Community Champions
Milford, CT – July 3, 2024 – The Conscious Living Series event held on Saturday, June 29th @ Connoisseur Media Radio Station brought together local leaders and community members for a special program that surpassed all expectations.
The event featured Mayor Tony Giannattasio and his mother, Norma Giannattasio, on the radio show “The Business Champion,” which airs Saturdays at 9:30 AM on WICC600 AM + 107.3FM. The episode, titled “Beyond Our Expectations: How Our Kids Transform,” was an insightful and heartwarming discussion on the transformative power of children.
Following the radio show, attendees were invited to a luncheon/program with the understanding that they would be honoring the Mayor. However, in a delightful twist, the event honored the attendees themselves as champions, celebrating their accomplishments and contributions to the community.
This surprise element was exceptionally well-received, fostering a sense of cleansing and comfort among participants, who freely shared personal experiences, life accomplishments and connected on a deeper level.
The event, initially scheduled from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, extended to 2 PM, culminating in group photos. The success of the luncheon was significantly bolstered by the generous sponsorship of Milford businesses, including Connoisseur Media Radio, Whole Foods, Scratch Bakery, Harbor Eats, Big Y, and Stop & Shop, who provided an array of delicious sandwiches, creative salads, and delectable desserts.
Additionally, firefighters from the Wheeler Farm Road Station were honored guests, with food being delivered to the station to include them in the celebration.
“This event was not just about the Mayor; it was about recognizing and celebrating the incredible stories and achievements of our attendees,” said Mariette Kammerer, the event creator. “The atmosphere was one of genuine connection and appreciation, making it a truly exceptional experience for everyone involved.”
